Georgina Okon in ‘Much Ado’ Adaptation ‘Nothing, Nothing’

2012 grad Georgina Okon recently starred in Nothing, Nothing, a “site-specific adaptation of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing with Hero Theatre. The play, written by Amina Henry, was performed in a Baptist Church located in Pasadena.

The award-winning actress has received countless commendations over the past decade, including Best Supporting Actress from the following festivals and awards ceremonies: Accord Cine Fest, Best Shorts Competition, Independent Shorts Awards, IndieX Film Festival, Top Shorts Film Festival, and Vegas Movie Awards. Okon also received the Best Actor award at the Top Indie Film Awards.


Okon can be spotted in season 2, episode 5 of Hulu’s Shrill, titled “Wedding.”
