Do you ever feel like you need to get away from the craziness of the world? That’s exactly what the characters of the new satirical comedy series, “The White Lotus” (HBO Max), had in mind when they decided to spend a week on an island filled with paradise… and eventual psychological disaster. Starring the Academy’s very own Jennifer Coolidge (Class of 1982), the series is filled with all kinds of complex characters who show their true selves as their glorious vacation goes horribly wrong.
Jennifer Coolidge (Class of 1982) has had an incredible career with films such as “Legally Blonde” (2001) and “American Pie” (1999), but most recently starred in the 2021 Academy Award Best Original Screenplay awarded film “Promising Young Woman” (2020).
Watch for her character, Tanya McQuioid, alongside the talents of Steve Zahn (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” “Captain Fantastic”), Murray Bartlett (“Looking,” “August”), Connie Britton (“Bombshell,” “Joe Bell”), Natasha Rothwell (“Love Victor,” “Sonic the Hedgehog”) and many more incredible performers!
