The extent of achievements by our alumni is enough to warrant an exhaustive laundry list. Below, catch a few from the month of June.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge

The long-awaited fifth installment to the Indiana Jones franchise will hit theaters at the end of the month. The film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, welcomes returning cast members with Phoebe Waller-Bridge (ST ’02) joining.

The film will premiere in Los Angeles followed by a wide release on June 30th.

Mamoudou Athie

Elemental starring Mamoudou Athie (ST ’06) is now in theaters. The animated film hails from one of Hollywood’s most beloved animation studios, Pixar.

Rayna Campbell

Extraction 2, featuring Rayna Campbell (’99), is now out on Netflix. The action flick stars Chris Hemsworth in the lead role.


Adrien Brody

Adrien Brody (ST ’93) stars in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. Full of typical Andersonian cinematography and an ensemble cast anchored by his usual suspects, catch the film in theaters now.

Angel Parker

Angel Parker (’99) cast in indie drama CTRL ALT DEL. The actress has seen her career take off over the past decade, working consistently on network television.

Nelson Lee

Nelson Lee’s (’01) role in new Disney Star Wars show Ahsoka revealed. Like Angel Parker, Lee’s career has gained considerable traction in the past few years.


Taylor Mac

Taylor Mac’s (’96) HBO special, Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music, will be released on June 27th.


Luke Wilcox

Luke Wilcox (’22) appeared in Chiquita at Downtown Urban Arts Festival in NY. Congrats to the recent grad.


Joe J. Garcia & Co.

Joe J. Garcia (’84) directs an entire alumni cast in Tracers for the Hollywood Fringe Festival.


The production originated with The Academy’s Los Angeles Company, before being brought to the annual festival.
